At Sunny Skies Preschool in Sunset Park, we are committed to delivering the highest quality child care to every family we serve. Quality at Sunny Skies is defined by a standard of excellence far exceeding what is average or merely sufficient as we continually strive to provide outstanding early childhood education. As a bilingual and multicultural preschool, our caring teachers speak English, Spanish, and Urdu/Hindi, fostering language development, inclusivity, and cultural awareness from an early age.
At Sunny Skies Preschool, the safety and security of every child is our highest priority. Our comprehensive security measures begin the moment you approach our doors, which remain locked at all times and are accessible only when entry is granted by a staff member. This system allows us to closely monitor who enters and exits the building while carefully recording each child’s arrival and departure every day. Children are released only to individuals who are pre-authorized on enrollment documents and verified with proper identification. In addition, security cameras are installed throughout the facility to ensure continuous monitoring and to maintain a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for all children.
Our program includes nap time. The children will often nap just once a day. Sunny Skies Preschool has a daily nap schedule regardless of the child’s age.
We are open year round and observe most major holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. Notices and school calendar are posted and supplied.
At SSPS we are very diverse in every sense of the word. Our families and staff all come from varied parts of the world and are very welcoming and patient with our families.
We do provide meals. The children eat at least three times a day, morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack. All meals are catered via Regina catering. Menus are posted monthly.
